Electrical Safety - General

For Students, Faculty, Non-Hospital Staff

Electrical Safety - General training is a 30 minute online only training presentation which discusses electrical hazards, electrical injuries, arc flash and arc blast, emergency response, first aid for electrical shock, using an AED, power lines, use of electrical equipment, circuit protective devices, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe work practices. This training is mandatory for employees with minimal work near or with electrical installations (e.g., electricians, trades, building engineers, and laboratory related electrical/electronic equipment assemblers). This training is a one time only required course.

NOTE: To complete the online training, go to Chalk and log in with your CNet ID and password, select Community in the upper right side of the screen and select the desired course.
