Hazard Communication is a 30 minute online only training presentation which discusses where you encounter hazardous chemicals, why prevention is important, the hazard communication standard, Globally Harmonizing Systems (GHS), employee responsibilities, forms of hazards, detection and monitoring, hazards at your facility, how chemicals enter the body, chemical labeling, Safety Data Sheets, PPE, and emergency response. This training is mandatory for employees who may be exposed to hazardous chemicals under normal operating conditions or in foreseeable emergencies (e.g., building engineers and trades, dock workers, grounds crew, police officers). Hazard Communication refresher training is required every three years.

A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be assessed if you do not cancel your registration at least 10 business days in advance.
