Personal Protective Equipment for Non-Laboratory Personnel is now available online only through the Chalk site.
The 30 minute online Personal Protective Equipment for Non-Laboratory Personnel training will review hazard assessments, when personal protective equipment is necessary and how to select, properly wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment. This training course is mandatory for all employees who by nature of their job function have the potential to be exposed or come in contact with chemical, physical, or biological hazards which by this exposure can cause illness or injury (e.g., building engineers, trades, grounds crew, laboratory personnel, dock workers). Personal Protective Equipment training is a one-time only requirement.
Personal Protective Equipment for Laboratory Personnel - You will receive credit for personal protective equipment (PPE) training when you complete the online only Chemical Hygiene Plan - Laboratory Safety through the University’s Chalk site.
A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be assessed if you do not cancel your registration at least 10 business days in advance.
